Norwell Veterinary Hospital

I’ve had the pleasure of taking my Labrador to the Norwell Veterinary Hospital for a number of years upon moving to Massachusetts. The staff are incredibly intelligent and kind, taking time to answer all my questions and see me and Stevie whenever we needed care and help. Even at the end of his life, the Norwell team went above and beyond to make our family comfortable despite the circumstances. We’re clients for life and I can’t recommend them enough.

This was Simo’s first visit to Norwell Veterinary Hospital. I liked the staff who were friendly and efficient and the fact we had no wait time. Simo has her blood work and received her rabies vaccine which she tolerated and returned to me a happy kitty. She is due to be spayed soon and I’m assured she will be handled with the same care as her first visit. The hospital is bright, cherry and clean. I recommend this place.

My cat has thyroid issues and I brought him here for an exam since the emergency care place I’ve used for 4 years, was booked. People were nice but place is definitely more concerned with making money. Exam cost $100 more than the other place and they talked me into buying special food for almost $60. About 6 weeks later I called to get a refill for my cats medicine and they refused unless I came in for another complete physical and blood test which meant I would have paid them over $650 for 2 visits in just over a month’s time. I tried to get them to just do a blood test, but they refused. I called my regular emergency care place and one of the doctors there called and emailed them on my behalf and even offered to write the prescription and they could just fill it and they refused unless I met their requirement of a physical and blood test. So the veterinarian at the emergency care place filled the prescription and sent it to me. Finally Norwell gave me a refund on the food, and when I returned the food, I asked to speak to whomever was in charge and discuss my concerns, and why I was leaving Norwell, and going back to the other veterinarian. They said I should get a call within 24 hours. Of course I didn’t. About 4 days later I sent an email and 1 week later another email. I still haven’t heard from them, in almost 2 months time. As I said in my opinion they care more about the money than making sure the animals and their owners are well taken care of and satisfied.

It insulation a remembered sense of confidence in veterinary medicine as a caring businesses after my old vet became inundated with business to the absurd degree. Appointments there were six to eight weeks out, which was ridiculous. No such problem with Norwalk and the people there. Lovely facility in which each room does not have a number, but rather the name of a dog or cat.

We have been going to Norwell Vet Hospital since my German Shepard Sampson was a puppy! He now is 11. We recently had a wellness check on him and I want to say he is always in the best care ! The Doctors techs and Front desk are the best! Dedicated to their jobs!They are considerate caring and do everything to accommodate your needs and reassure you if needed!Our Vet is Dr. Sullivan our Angel for sure! Do not hesitate if you want the best care possible!

I rescued a kitten from my backyard. I didn't know anything about him except that he needed to be seen by a veterinarian. I called 2 veterinarian closer to my house. Neither one could give me an appointment within a month or more. I found this to be very unsettling. I called Norwell Veterinarian and was seen the next day. I am very happy I did. The office staff, technicians and doctors genuinely care about my kitten. They are friendly and compassionate. He has been seen 3 times now because he needed to get well. The office is bright and clean. I like the separate areas for cats & dogs to wait & to be examined. I am grateful for Norwell Veterinarian hospital & their level of care.

Lizzielu, our 12 year old yellow lab has been cared for in a very kind, professional and compassionate way for many years. The entire staff goes above and beyond to provide the best care. Unfortunately LIZZIELU’s health condition declined in the past few months and we made a decision to have her euthanized. Dr Kelleher and her staff were so caring at a time that is extremely difficult for pet owners. So, in my book I will certainly give NVH a 5 star rating. The best care around.
